Henry Paal

Responsible for IT and data engineering

Henry started his career in IT, growing from developer at Helmes into roles as analyst, system architect, and data engineer. Along the way, he stepped into the logistics world — and that’s where his unique mix of technology expertise and industry insight came together. With a deep understanding of both data and operations, Henry brings the vision and skills that now power LeanMile’s mission to simplify and automate cross-border logistics.

Kaur Ojakivi

Responsible for process and automation engineering

Kaur’s journey in logistics began on the ground as a mailman, where he quickly started connecting everyday problems with IT-driven solutions. He founded a domestic courier company in Estonia, and later contributed to both IT and product development at Cleveron. More recently, he has been deeply involved in global e-commerce logistics. As LeanMile’s co-founder, Kaur is responsible for process and automation engineering, bringing a hands-on approach and a passion for diving deep into business and operational details — and turning them into working solutions.

Henry and Kaur’s paths crossed in the global logistics field, where it quickly became clear they shared the same principles, ethics, and vision for how logistics should work. Both had seen first-hand the inefficiencies holding back growth and knew technology could change it.

Combining Henry’s IT and data engineering expertise with Kaur’s operational and product background, they built LeanMile to streamline logistics—automating where possible, supporting where needed, and always staying hands-on with the industry they know best.
